OARS Homeschool STEM & Nature Collective
BETA Friday Learning Labs
Hands-on learning. Real-world exploration. Built for curious minds.
OARS Learning Labs are experiential, place-based learning opportunities designed for students in 2rd grade and above. Each Friday, students spend time learning through hands-on activities connected to science, nature, STEM, outdoor skills, and the unique 50-acre OARS landscape.
During our beta-testing period, Learning Labs are offered at no cost as we explore family interest, refine the program, and develop future offerings.
Learning Labs may take students outdoors across the OARS property, including trails, meadows, wooded areas, and areas near ponds. Because of the nature of the site and activities, the program is intended for older children who can participate safely in a group learning environment.
Parents and guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend; children who require direct supervision must have a parent or guardian present.
Our goal is to create a learning community where children can ask questions, get their hands dirty, explore the natural world, and discover that learning doesn't have to happen inside four walls.
